could anyone not find this disgusting? First they remove
certain civil rights, using the War on Terror as a justification,
and then they take aim on the Constitutional system of
checks and balances in our three branches of government.
In some cases, they want only TWO branches. If there isn't
an outcry from the common citizen about this attempt at
flagrant abuse, then the politicians will know they can,
after all, get by with anything.
Do these people not understand the Constitution-- or
do they merely choose to ignore it?
Re: Commentary Protecting
As a mountain biker I think it important to clarify whether or
not you intended to say "motorised off road vehicle".
We don't want to be lumped in with the throttle twisting crowd.
We also tend to our own trails, which other trail users such as
hikers, runners and equestrians share.
is what I meant (unless you pedal-propelled bikers are somehow
putting out noise and blue smoke, too).
Pooh pooh, Brad. I thought you were smarter than this. While I
agree that our National Parks should be preserved and protected,
the generalizations about ATV and snowmobile riders in you commentary
were a bit much. They are akin to saying I and all other motorcyclists
are like the Bandidos and Hells Angels just because we all

Why are you
so defensive? If you're protecting the parks and forests and behaving
yourselves, you have nothing to worry about. You know who I'm
talking about, and I'd wager that you oppose what they do, too
The other day, you mentioned Houston's online restaurant health
reports. On your comment section of your ten foot pole that day,
I wrote in about how a mexican restaurant I go to left the same
salsa out during the lunch special, thus allowing "double-dipping"
of chips from numerous unknowing customers. You read my comment
on the air.
The next time I went there, the restaurant's policy had abruptly
changed, and now each customer gets fresh salsa with each order.
Thank you. best regards,
