Here is a two-minute TV commercial which I think you will watch all the way through, and probably play again, and then maybe send to a few friends. Pretty rare for a commercial, huh. --Brad

Poll shows new gains for Bush over Kerry Despite signs of concern among Americans about the violence in Iraq, the poll showed Bush's approval ratings holding steady and Kerry's slipping on a variety of issues and attributes.

Texas agency for the elderly under fire Francisco Chapa was not home — that is, he was not in the rotted-out 1960's Rambler station wagon he sleeps in when he is not in his adobe ruin next door or walking to Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, 30 miles away, or abducted by what he insists are U.F.O.'s that take him to outer planets.

Brad:
According to this New York report (Item 2) Condi slipped as she was talking to a group and said...."As I was telling my husb-..." then stopped and corrected herself to "As I was telling President Bush..."
Since she has never been married, just how difficult would it be for an unmarried woman to invoke the husband word? It took me awhile to use it after I got married. So, just how creepy is their relationship that she even THINKS in that manner?

Was Oklahoma City bombing taped? A Secret Service document written shortly after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing described security video footage of the attack and witness testimony that suggested Timothy McVeigh may have had accomplices at the scene.

  • That's the price we have to pay for asserting ourselves. As we found out from WWII, trying to appease our enemies doesn't work. Ignoring the problem won't make it go away.
  • Brad, I didn't actually vote because I don't think the war on Iraq has changed a thing as far as the terrorists go. We are still likely to be attacked. I think Bush made a mistake by invading Iraq and is compounding it by not firing those who gave him the wrong information.
  • Where is Osama? I guess we could ask the Saudi Princes couldn't we?
  • George Bush is one of the greatest presidents ever!
  • Attacking Iraq without adequate provocation or proof of Iraq's ability to pose a threat to the U.S. will have the perverse effect of helping the terrorists to recruit new members.
  • The war had nothing to do with terrorism and the Arab world knows that. Also our heavy-handed efforts there, including hitting the mosque a couple of weeks ago has inflamed the Arab world. Lastly, the war in Iraq forced us to divert valuable resources from the true war against terrorists, i.e. Afghanistan. Therefore the war has hampered our clandestine efforts to prevent further terrorist acts here in the U.S. and around the world.
  • Why is this thing in Mountain Time - we don't live in Denver.
Yeah, I know. The poll server is there, however, and the people whom I pay to host the poll are unwilling or incapable of offering me either a Central Time readout or an option to not display the time. The world is not a perfect place. I my own self am proof.

From Richard H.

Two antennas meet on a roof, fall in love and get married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.

Two hydrogen atoms walk into a bar. One says, "I've lost my electron."
The other says, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm positive."

A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start anything."

A sandwich walks into a bar.
The bartender says, "Sorry we don't serve food in here."

A dyslexic man walks into a bra.

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One says to the other, "Does this taste funny to you?"

"Doc, I can't stop singing 'The Green, Green Grass of Home.'"
"That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome."
"Is it common?"
"It's Not Unusual."

Two cows standing next to each other in a field, Daisy says to Dolly, "I was artificially inseminated this morning."
"I don't believe you," said Dolly.
"It's true, no bull!" exclaimed Daisy.

An invisible man marries an invisible woman. The kids were nothing to look at either.
