Bush
attacks Kerry on intel Called Kerry "dangerously indecisive"
and accused him of a "deeply irresponsible" effort to weaken
the nation's intelligence services before Sept. 11, 2001.
Bush's campaign had planned to husband much of its
ammunition for the fall. But with the president trailing in the latest
polls, he and campaign officials are deploying what they consider
some of their most potent information

Villareal, 14, shot by DEA 13 months ago today
Note
to my Producer: Please invite the local DEA to tell me
whether the investigation of the Feb. 9, 2003 shooting
of Ashley Villareal, 14, has been completed yet, and what
the results are. I would also like the Bexar D.A. to update
people on the progress of the local police investigation
and whether the case has gone to a Grand Jury yet.
Thank you.

Hey Brad, it's a great thing when you can get all your friends a
big contract.. but when those friends overcharge the taxpayers and
then DON"T pay the bills they are supposed to be paying, then
the soldiers in Iraq stop having hot meals.
What a bunch of losers. I sure am glad the adults are in charge
here. Four more years of this crowd, and we are so screwed.

Dear Brad,
Today I heard President Bush 's former envoy to Afghanistan, diplomat
James Dobbins, interviewed on NPR. When asked about the situation
in Iraq and Afghanistan, he stated that he was not optimistic. Mr.
Dobbins went on to say that the administration had decided to take
on a war with Iraq before it had finished establishing real security
in Afghanistan. He said that warnings by many not to go into Iraq
before stabilizing the situation in Afghanistan went unheeded. Troops
were pulled out of Afghanistan to go to Iraq. "We stretched
ourselves too thin, and what we have now is a situation where we
have no real security in either country. When such a environment
exists, it becomes very difficult to have the kinds of changes we
would like to see develop."
