City of San Antonio Campaign Finance Reports HERE
Great news. Jay Kumar has found a new home for his self-generated, searchable database of local campaign donations and expenditures. If you visit his database - or use it - it would be nice if you clicked his Feedback link or sent him an email. Jay is demonstrating the type of database which the City of San Antonio should have— searchable, sortable and accessible (unlike the city's current website which offers unsearchable, unsortable oversized PDF files).

Hello Brad
I was visiting the City of San Antonio Campaign finance Reports. I found it odd in Art Hall’s case (he's my councilman) that he has donations from Washington D.C., Montana, North Carolina and other states. I also found it odd that donors that don't even live in his area donated money. But this one was the oddest: "Vulcan Materials Company PAC" of Birmingham, Al gave him money. Thats the company that does blasting that causes the windows & walls to shake in my subdivision. Thanks.

Domestic issues hurt Bush in new poll President Bush delivers his State of the Union Address tonight to an American public that has become broadly dissatisfied with his domestic agenda, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

NASCAR has a new plan Starting with the Daytona 500, NASCAR is revamping its method of crowning a champion by introducing an NFL-style "postseason" designed to boost ratings.

Reveling in regular season TV ratings that outstrip the NBA and Major League Baseball, NASCAR officials are borrowing a page from the NFL playbook and taking aim at the only sport that outdraws them on Sundays.

Brad,
I've been a listener to KTSA since Carl Wigglesworth first came over a few years back. However, after stomaching about all the anti-Bush, anti-War CRAP you can dish out, I'm turning my radio back to WOAI as long as you are around.
Lynn B.

Thanks for the email and the opinion, Lynn. Mr. Bush has been a bitter disappointment to me. At least on that other station you'll never want for news of Bill and Hillary, which are still huge topics over there during my time of day.
Brad
