Ten-Foot Poll

A couple of days ago I put a poll on the internet asking people who they're gonna vote for— and who they think will win.

So far it's Bush by about 7 to 3.

Now people are emailing me saying what did I expect? KTSA listeners are mostly conservative, so they're all voting for Bush, so of course he's stomping Kerry in the Ten-Foot Poll.

Well, maybe and maybe not. I believe a third or even half of our audience is other than conservative. I see poll results all the time indicating that.

I am starting to wonder whether the Kerry people are abandoning him and deciding they'll vote for Bush after all. That's my gut feeling... admittedly based on no hard data.

And today there'll be plenty of exposure of the new Swift Boat Vets ad that makes Kerry out to be a Jane Fonda-clone commie-loving traitor, so he could be swirling even farther down the tube before sunset.

I think the ol' Ten-Foot Poll - Bush 7 Kerry 3 - might not be too wrong around here.
