Octopus Eggs

A lady goes swimming at a California beach and accidentally swallows seawater. A few months later she goes to the emergency room with stomach cramps. Doctors are amazed to discover that a baby octopus has grown inside her. Scientists explain that octopus eggs are very small, and she must have swallowed one with the seawater.

A little girl drinks from a garden hose. She unknowingly drinks down a snake egg. A snake grows inside her stomach.

A woman in Iran gives birth to a frog. Many newspapers carry the report.

I love these stories. People send me email and say, is this true or what? And the stories hardly ever are. The three aforementioned claims are all false.

Oh, by the way, the photo of a catfish with an 8-inch ball in its mouth?

That one is true.
